COPYING A SECTION OF THE MAGAZINE FROM THE DOWNLOADED PDF FILE
The following instructions will allow you to copy a section of the magazine from the downloaded PDF file in large enough text to be easily readable.
Follow these instructions after you have downloaded the PDF of the magazine.
Then go to the page you want to copy from.
1. On the tool bar above the PDF, near the center, in the drop-down menu where the percentages are read (like 43%), choose 125%.
2. On the tool bar to the left of the percentages box, click on the Snapshot tool (icon looks like a camera).
3. Hold the cursor over the top left corner of the page. The cursor will now be a small cross.
4. With the left mouse button, click and hold the button down above and to the left of text and graphics on the page. Drag the mouse to the right and down until you get to the bottom right corner of the page. As you drag the mouse down, the page will scroll down. A dotted-line box will be created over the entire page. When you get to the bottom corner and all the area you selected is in the box, release the mouse button. This takes a “photo” of what you selected and a message will come up that says, “The selected area has been copied to the clipboard.”
5. On a page in a program like Microsoft Word, paste what you copied onto the page, using either the right mouse button or “Control-V”. If you want to paste this in an e-mail, then you need copy it from Microsoft Word (or another program) and then paste it into the e-mail.
6. Do the same for any other pages that you want to copy.
